Mr. Hoban is a partner in the litigation practice group. Mr. Hoban’s areas of practice include commercial and business litigation, defense of professionals in malpractice actions, and insurance coverage issues. He manages all aspects of civil litigation in federal and Massachusetts courts and has trial experience in the Superior, District, Probate and Family, and Land Court Departments of the Massachusetts courts. Mr. Hoban has appellate experience in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Mr. Hoban is a co-author of the introductory chapter of the Massachusetts Liability Insurance Manual (MCLE, Inc. 2000) (update pending), “Basic Elements of the Insurance Contract,” and a chapter of Massachusetts Discovery Practice (MCLE, Inc. 2002), “Discovery Motions and Appeals.” Mr. Hoban is admitted to practice before all Massachusetts federal and state courts.
