Mr. Beaton focuses his practice on real estate development and land use law. Mr. Beaton assists clients in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, construction and leasing. He represents clients in regulatory compliance matters and the planning and permitting of commercial, educational and non-profit developments. His experience includes appearing before municipal and state authorities. Mr. Beaton has been recognized as a "Massachusetts Rising Star" by Boston magazine and Law & Politics. |

Prior to joining Bowditch and Dewey, Mr. Beaton worked as an associate with a Boston law firm and was a law clerk with the City of Boston Law Department. Mr. Beaton also has experience in civil engineering related to the design, survey and permitting of private land development and public infrastructure projects. |

- Mr. Beaton has lectured on zoning and permitting topics for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE).
