Ms. Garrahan’s practice includes commercial and non-profit real estate development, land use planning, permitting, conveyancing, leasing and environmental matters. Her land use advocacy has included handling negotiations and drafting agreements concerning brownfields covenants not to sue, non-profit educational zoning relief, municipal by-law challenges, permitting under MGL c. 40, §54A (properties formerly used as railroad right of ways or appurtenant to former railroad land), and affordable housing regulatory agreements. Her work in affordable housing development includes financing programs of state and federal agencies such as the Executive Office of Communities and Development, Department of Housing and Urban Development and programs of the Federal Home Loan Bank. |
