| Mr. O'Rourke, a former trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice, concentrates his practice in federal and state trial and appellate civil litigation with an emphasis on business litigation, including litigation of employment claims, insurance coverage, eminent domain and libel. He has participated in numerous cases before the United States Supreme Court and various state and federal courts including Bakke v. Regents of the University of California, Southeastern Community College v. Davis and United States v. Virginia State Police.
Mr. O’Rourke is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys and has experience as counsel to the Board of Trustees of the College of Holy Cross. He is a frequent lecturer on various education, litigation and risk management issues. |
