| Mr. Sichko has more than 15 years experience practicing in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and probate and tax litigation. He specializes in representing high-net-worth individuals and families as counsel and as trustee. He also specializes in the formation and operation of tax-exempt organizations, and has represented clients before the United States Tax Court, the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board, various courts throughout Massachusetts, and in administrative proceedings with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and the Internal Revenue Service.
Before joining the firm in 2005, Mr. Sichko was a partner at Prince, Lobel, Glovsky & Tye. Prior to that, he served as a judge advocate in the United States Marine Corps. His duties included serving as chief trial counsel for Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina; special assistant United States attorney for the State of South Carolina; deputy staff judge advocate for the 3rd Marine Division, Okinawa, Japan; and assistant professor of Law at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
Mr. Sichko has been a frequent lecturer on tax and estate planning topics for attorneys, accountants, and other professionals. |
