Mr. Smith’s practice involves a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, land use, zoning, permitting and development, leasing, financing and issuance of legal opinions, condominium creation and real estate tax abatement and exemption appeals. He works closely with electric utility companies on projects involving the upgrading, development and permitting of high voltage transmission lines and substations. Mr. Smith has extensive experience and expertise in representing estates, colleges and universities and charitable and exempt organizations in the gifting, acquisition and disposition of residential properties. |

| Mr. Smith worked as a Summer Associate for Bowditch & Dewey, LLP (Summer 2004) and as a Summer Intern for the Office of the Inspector General in New York City (Summer 2003). Mr. Smith was also an Executive Editor of the Syracuse Law Review. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Smith worked as a market analyst in both the staffing and software industries. |
