Chuck Tidman is a Partner in the firm’s Worcester office, but represents clients across the state. Mr. Tidman serves as general counsel to clients in many industries and offers solutions to complex business problems involving issues of ownership, structure, planning, management, operations, business disputes and finance. In his capacity as general counsel to a client, he uses his extensive business education and experience to develop an intimate understanding of the client’s industry, products, strategies and goals and partners with management in providing legal perspective to the client’s overall business plan. His general counsel services are a perfect fit for clients that have a regular need for consistent, informed legal counseling but which do not have a budget for in-house counsel. Mr. Tidman also has extensive experience in representing purchasers and sellers of assets or business stock in acquisition and sale transactions. He draws upon his experience as a former banker in representing banks in commercial and real estate loan transactions, loan workouts, bank management and bankruptcy and as general counsel. His diverse education includes a B.S., with high distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1979, an M.B.A., with high distinction from Babson College in 1982 and a J.D., cum laude from Suffolk University in 1986. Prior to his career in law, Mr. Tidman worked as a commercial loan officer, handling a portfolio of commercial, industrial and real estate loan relationships. He has been a frequent lecturer and seminar leader on various business and banking topics. He serves his community as President of Holden Baseball Program, Inc. and as manager of the Wachusett American Legion baseball team.
