Worcester Medicine publishes “The Fairness of Summary Suspensions”

The Worcester District Medical Society published an article by Peter Martin in the January/February 2016 edition of its quarterly publication, Worcester Medicine, covering last year’s Supreme Judicial Court decision raising the standard of evidence that must be presented against a physician in order to suspend his or her license in Massachusetts. The decision presents a victory for the state’s doctors, while reducing the leverage of the Board of Registration in Medicine.
