Bowditch & Dewey hosts 3rd Annual Economic Development Summit

Img 3963aLast night on November 1st, Bowditch & Dewey hosted the 3rd Annual Economic Development Summit in The White Room at the Crompton Collective located in Worcester. The topic of this year’s event was regional economic development in Central Massachusetts. Attendees learned about the many successes of various Central Mass. partnerships and discussed ideas for future regional collaboration.

The keynote speaker was Michael Goodman, who is the Executive Director of the Public Policy Center at UMass Dartmouth. The moderator was Roy Angel, who is the VP of Commercial Lending for the Central Massachusetts region. He discussed key regional economic trends and future plans with the following panelists:

  • Jay Ash – Secretary of Housing and Economic Development, Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Tim Murray – President and CEO, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce
  • Meredith Harris – Executive Director, Marlborough Economic Development Corporation
  • Paul Matthews – Executive Director, 495/MetroWest Partnership

We had a great turnout with a packed room – the energy and enthusiasm from all of the attendees could be felt throughout the venue! On behalf of Bowditch & Dewey, we would like to thank everyone who came and showed support!
