Worcester Telegram Quotes AiVi Nguyen in “Pawtucket Red Sox’s Steinberg touts Worcester in United Way address”
The United Way of Central Massachusetts held its 99th Annual Meeting on May 9 at Mechanics Hall, which featured keynote speaker Dr. Charles Steinberg, president of the Pawtucket Red Sox.
In his speech, Dr. Steinberg talked about the sense of pride he saw in Worcester and how the United Way’s programs have helped the city.
AiVi Nguyen agrees. The Telegram quoted AiVi in the article as saying:
AiVi Nguyen, a partner at the Worcester-based firm Bowditch & Dewey and chair of the United Way’s board of directors, spoke about growing up in Great Brook Valley and succeeding in large part because of access to United Way-funded programs that still exist today.
“I am a tangible product of philanthropy,” she said.
