Bowditch Sponsors Lawyers for Civil Rights Annual Reception in Boston

Lawyers for Civil Rights will hold its Annual Reception at 6 p.m. on June 13 at the State Room in Boston.

This year’s event will honor Vertex Pharmaceuticals’ Legal & Compliance Department for their leadership on diversity and inclusion. Lawyers for Civil Rights will also spotlight its medical/legal partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital, which has been going on for more than 15 years.

The Annual Reception’s Honorary Event Chair is Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, who represents Massachusetts’s 7th Congressional District, and the keynote speaker is Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins.

The Annual Reception, sponsored by Bowditch, will benefit and enable the work of Lawyers for Civil Rights, which fosters equal opportunity and fights discrimination for people of color and immigrants through legal action education and advocacy.
