Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Highlights Mr. Young’s Success in Resolving and Defending High-Exposure Claims

Boston, Framingham and Worcester, MA—May 10, 2021—Attorney Robert G. (Bob) Young II, Partner, Bowditch & Dewey, was recently named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s inaugural list of top 20 Massachusetts Go To Lawyers for Employment Law.

The publication honored Mr. Young for his exceptional representation of businesses, municipalities, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations and executives facing high-exposure claims and disputes.

These involve discrimination and retaliation, non-competition, trade secrets, wage-and-hour and other complex employment-related issues. In addition, he conducts internal investigations when employers face harassment, whistleblower and other employee claims.

At trial, he also recently obtained a complete defense verdict for a Fortune 500 company facing a judgment of more than $2 million in a retaliation case.

Mr. Young has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in the Employment and Labor category since 2017, and was a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2012-2016. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston University (BU) School of Law, and his B.A., magna cum laude, from BU, as well.
