Mark Borenstein Quoted in Worcester Telegram’s “Senior housing at former St. Peter-Marian school gets nod from Worcester zoning board”

The Worcester Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approved variances for a senior housing development to be built at the former St. Peter-Marian High School by Goddard/Homestead, a nonprofit that operates retirement communities. The variances, which include relief from off-street parking requirements and height restrictions, will allow the project to increase from 145 to 170 units. Mark Borenstein, who represents Goddard/Homestead and appeared before the board at the hearing, was quoted in the Worcester Telegram:

“Given that plans have changed and the design has changed, we’re seeking this approval from the board,” Mark said.
