David Grossi is a well-regarded Massachusetts-based litigator and business lawyer concentrating on management-side labor and employment counsel and on complex business litigation at the regional and national levels. David serves clients across a wide range of industries – often as their outside general counsel – providing:
- Antitrust and commercial counseling – often in the context of mergers and acquisitions – and business litigation services, including help with regulatory compliance, such as filings under the Hart–Scott–Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act
- Formulation of distribution and pricing programs for companies on regional and national levels in industrial, commercial, food and beverage, and consumer markets
- Representation of businesses regarding price discrimination, packaging, trade practices, competition, termination, products liability and other issues that arise in commercial disputes
David often deals with high-stakes cases, such as ones involving the Robinson–Patman Act and other antitrust issues as well as with defective product claims and asbestos and silica-related toxic tort litigation. Management clients, in both union and non-union environments, seek David’s help with comprehensive labor and employment law services. In addition, he represents higher education clients – primarily in Massachusetts – in connection with faculty, student, operation and other issues unique to colleges and universities.
Besides work
David likes to garden in his spare time. “I’m partial to day lilies. They’re beautiful flowers…and very tolerant. Almost indestructible.”
