Bureau of Ocean Energy Management to Host In-Person Meetings for Gulf of Maine Wind Energy Development

On July 24-27, 2023, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) will host in-person meetings in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine to seek comments and on-the-water knowledge from the Gulf of Maine fishing community to improve the spatial models used to inform draft Wind Energy Areas. The BOEM in-person meetings will provide an opportunity to meet with the BOEM team, learn about the data the organization has received, and share feedback on how the spatial model is incorporating that data. The BOEM is responsible for offshore renewable energy development in Federal waters. Learn more about the renewable energy efforts underway offshore Massachusetts.
