Dialogue included everything from the fundamentals of developing successful biomanufacturing facilities and the types of facilities the Boston market is demanding, to how life science developments are incorporating building and management technology to optimize operations and engage the community.<\/p>\n<p>One key takeaway from the session was the speed at which the life science field evolves. Industry standards for cutting edge technology and architectural features are constantly changing and may look very different by the end of a multi-year lease. It is crucial that life science companies and developers communicate with their team of experts to develop space that is nimble and adaptable, with a clear view of where the field is going instead of where it is at the moment. Tenants and landlords must look as far into the future as possible to think creatively about how their needs may evolve when developing and occupying these spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Massachusetts has become the epicenter of the life science industry, and there are major projects planned and underway throughout the greater Boston metropolitan area.
