Importantly, MBTA communities that have not yet achieved interim compliance with the Guidelines stand to lose their eligibility for potentially hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars of funding sources that require compliance with the Guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>To remain eligible for the calendar year 2023 round of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/orgs\/massworks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MassWorks<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/how-to\/housing-choice-community-grant-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Housing Choice<\/a>\u00a0grants,\u00a0as well as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Laws\/GeneralLaws\/PartI\/TitleIII\/Chapter29\/Section2EEEE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Local Capital Projects Fund<\/a>,\u00a0an MBTA community must submit an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/doc\/action-plan-for-mbta-communities\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Action Plan for MBTA Communities<\/a> to the Department of Community Housing and Development (\u201cDHCD\u201d) no later than January 31, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>While interim compliance will allow an MBTA community to remain eligible for funding sources in 2023, full District Compliance is needed to remain eligible thereafter.
