In an op-ed published by the <em>Boston Business Journal<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bowditch.com\/people\/korrin-petersen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Korrin Petersen<\/a> discusses how aging water and wastewater systems are limiting housing development in many communities and examines funding strategies that could help modernize critical infrastructure while advancing the state&#8217;s housing goals. Below is an excerpt:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Housing affordability remains a persistent challenge for the commonwealth. The state\u2019s 2025\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/doc\/building-for-tomorrow-a-report-from-the-unlocking-housing-production-commission\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cUnlocking Housing Production\u201d<\/a>\u00a0report finds that employers cite the housing shortage as a key obstacle in attracting and retaining talent.
