Bob Young Featured in MetroWest Daily News’ “Can employers demand employees get vaccinated against COVID-19?”

The state plans on lifting the remaining COVID restrictions on May 29.  This leaves employers with questions as they prepare for their employees to return to work in-person.  Many of their questions are about vaccines.  Can employers require employees to get vaccinated?  Can they ask for proof of vaccination?  Bob Young answers these questions and more when he spoke with the MetroWest Daily News.

Businesses requiring vaccination generally have staff that meet directly with third parties, including clients or the general public.

“It’s more likely these employers require vaccination, because of the inherent risk in that type of position,” Young said.
