Press Release: Leah Rochwarg Joins Bowditch & Dewey’s Real Estate Practice Group as Construction Partner
Experienced Attorney Brings Collaborative, Goal-Oriented Approach to Practice
Boston, Worcester and Framingham, MA—June 9, 2021—Attorney Leah A. Rochwarg, an experienced attorney who focuses her practice on all aspects of construction law and litigation, has joined Bowditch & Dewey as a Partner, working primarily in the Boston office.
Ms. Rochwarg draws on more than two decades of experience in construction law representing owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals in a wide range of construction matters where she advised public and private clients in transactional and adversarial matters. Leah has represented clients during project conception, development, procurement, project monitoring and evaluation, and project closeout, as well as in dispute resolution through mediation, arbitration, and litigation. She comes to Bowditch after 15 years in a partnership role at a global law firm, where she counseled clients within the same segments.

Ms. Rochwarg will advise owners, developers, contractors, investors, corporate departments, and business, legal, and risk management teams on matters including claims related to delays, additional or extra work, performance issues, incomplete or defective work, design defects, bid protests and public bidding, risk management and mitigation strategy, dispute avoidance/resolution, and contract negotiation.
Leah will also advise clients in matters involving allegations of waste, fraud, abuse, and similar matters.
Currently, Ms. Rochwarg is co-chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Construction Law Committee and has also served as co-chair of the Real Estate Section. She holds a LEED® AP certification and has served as an instructor with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). Leah earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
