Venture Forum Panel Discussion on Craft Brewing Draws Large Crowd

Bob Young

Bob Young, Dani Babineau, David Fields and Brandon Heisler discuss the business of craft beer at 3 Cross Brewing’s tap room in Worcester, Massachusetts.

On October 19, the Venture Forum and Bowditch & Dewey hosted a “What’s Brewing” program with craft beer entrepreneurs. Held in the tap room space at 3 Cross Brewing in Worcester, the event featured a panel discussion among Dani Babineau of Redemption Rock Brewery Corporation, Brandon Heisler of Cold Harbor Brewing and David Fields of Wormtown Brewery, which I moderated. Each of the panelists shared their insights on the craft brewing industry in general and how they approached the numerous strategic decisions they have to make to develop their businesses. The robust, candid discussion provided insight to the standing-room only crowd on how to build a viable business in the industry. You can view a video of the panel discussion below.

Bowditch & Dewey and the Venture Forum each appreciate the panelists’ willingness to share their time and their experiences with the group.
