Forbes Magazine quotes John Shoro in “Where Not To Die In 2018”

Forbes Magazine quoted John Shoro in the article, “Where Not To Die In 2018”. The article focuses on the federal tax bill and what it will mean for various states in the upcoming year.

Under the tax bill, the amount you can leave tax-free to heirs is a generous $11.2 million in some states. However, in other states, that tax is “portable,” meaning a couple could potentially double that amount. Shoro commented on the federal tax exemption in terms of Massachusetts and where it falls on that spectrum, calling it a “use it or lose it expemption.”
