Katherine Garrahan Quoted in “MetroWest Chamber of Commerce Appoints Giammarinaro as New President and CEO”
The MetroWest Chamber of Commerce and MetroWest Chamber Educational Foundation have announced its new president and CEO: Jim Giammarinaro of Ashland.
Says Kathleen Garrahan in a press release about Jim’s new position:
“We cast a wide net in our search and thank the many outstanding candidates who applied. We were thrilled that Jim enjoyed his successful time as Interim Co-Leader and chose to throw his own hat into the ring. Jim’s contagious enthusiasm, his deep local relationships, and his experience in small and large business sectors, including success as an entrepreneur, made him a strong and unique choice for our new President and CEO. We couldn’t be happier,” said Katherine Garrahan, Chair of the Board of Directors for the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce, and a partner at the law firm of Bowditch and Dewey.
“The Chamber strives to improve the business and economic climate of greater MetroWest, while working cooperatively with other area associations and affiliates to provide resources and opportunities for success. Jim will focus on making an impact on the region as an advocate for the businesses and communities we serve, while maintaining and deepening our role with our members by providing a central hub for the community to connect and flourish.”
