Bowditch to Sponsor the Venture Forum’s Cutting Edge Surgical Innovations October 15

Bowditch will sponsor the Venture Forum’s Cutting Edge Surgical Innovations program, held at 5:30 p.m. on October 15 at WPI’s Rubin Campus Center.

The program will feature three expert surgery panelists, who will discuss advances in surgery they are leading, as well as meet with attendees and answer questions.

The panelists are:

• Dr. Gianluca De Novi, CEO of XSurgical, a company working on a remotely controlled surgical robot to be deployed in situations difficult for surgeons to enter;

• Bryce Klontz, president and CEO of New View Surgical Inc., an emerging medical device company developing and commercializing the VisionPort^TM  System for minimally invasive surgery; and

• Marina Vornle von Haagenfels, a new product development manager who focuses on stone disease in Boston Scientific’s Urology and Pelvic Health Division.
