Samantha McDonald to Moderate Nonprofit Roundtable on Fundraising and Donor Engagement

Samantha McDonald will moderate the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Nonprofit Roundtable on fundraising and donor engagement on June 23, 2026.

The program, which will feature Theresa Lee, Chief Development Officer at the New England Botanic Garden, and Lynn Swain, Vice President for Advancement at the American Antiquarian Society, will focus on the value of building relationships with nonprofit donors. Their discussion will explore how understanding each donor’s unique motivations for giving can help organizations strengthen engagement and foster long-term support.

Drawing on the principles of active listening, enthusiasm and kindness, the roundtable will examine approaches to donor cultivation that can be applied across a wide range of nonprofit organizations – from small historical societies and membership-based organizations to nonprofits that rely heavily on foundation or government funding.
