Joshua Lee Smith Speaks with Worcester Telegram about Two Approved Higher Ed Real Estate Projects

On March 16, 2022, the Worcester Planning Board approved the construction of two three-story townhouse-style dormitory buildings located near the main campus of the College of the Holy Cross.  Joshua Lee Smith spoke to the Worcester Telegram about this project:

“We’re delighted that the board approved us unanimously,” said Joshua Lee Smith, a lawyer at Bowditch & Dewey, the firm representing the school. “I think it’s an important project for the college.”

Also approved at the same meeting was the site plan for a new media arts, computing and design building at Clark University, which will be constructed in an existing parking lot.  Joshua Lee Smith spoke to the Worcester Telegram (subscription required) about this project:

The four-story building will house lecture halls, classrooms, media labs, a video game library, offices, lounges and gathering areas, said Joshua Lee Smith, an attorney with Bowditch & Dewey representing Clark on the project.

The Becker School of Design and Technology, which Clark absorbed after Becker shut down last year, will be housed in the building, along with visual and performing arts and computer science programs, Smith said.
