Peter Martin and Brigid Harrington to Present at Massachusetts Nonprofit Network’s “Building The Future” Conference
The 2024 Massachusetts Nonprofit Network (MNN) Conference “Building the Future” will highlight nonprofit professionals doing extraordinary work across the Commonwealth and provide opportunities to form connections with other nonprofit leaders.
At the conference, Peter Martin will present “Free Your Restricted Funds!” Peter will discuss the laborious process of modifying or lifting restrictions on charitable funds including donations, loans and grants, and whether it is worth it.
Brigid Harrington, an MNN Conference Expert Roundtable Presenter, will speak at the roundtable “DEI Initiatives Done Right,” which will focus on ways an organization can create positive cultural change, and proactively address systemic issues before they result in complaints of discrimination. Brigid will cover strategies for administering DEI initiatives, such as employee surveys, climate interventions, and interest groups, in a way that maximizes the benefit but limits the risk to an organization.
