David Keenan is a litigator with extensive trial and appellate experience at both the federal and state level. While his practice focuses on legal issues related to private and public construction projects, he also has experience handling commercial landlord/tenant, toxic tort litigation, truck accident and personal injury defense.
BEFORE BOWDITCH
David previously worked for another law firm, as well as the City of Boston. Prior to his legal career, he spent time as a merchant mariner and a geospatial intelligence analyst. David also served in the United States Coast Guard, where he was the noncommissioned officer-in-charge of search and rescue crews.
BESIDES WORK
David is an avid sailor and competes in many local and regional regattas. He is an active member of his community and volunteers as a judge for high school, undergraduate, and law school mock trial competitions.

The litigation was the subject of an interlocutory appeal based upon the Prompt Pay Act and resulted in a favorable settlement for our client.
- Property owners in dispute with neighbor when the neighbor had a number of mature trees cut down and removed but the trees were on the neighboring property. The case resulted in a significant settlement for our client.
