Bob Young Presented “HR Support + Compliance” at the Mass Brewers Guild Technical Brewing & Business Conference

The Mass Brewers Guild (MBG) Technical Brewing & Business Conference was held on November 6 in Framingham, MA. The focus of the day-long event, which featured workshops and lectures, was to learn best practices from industry experts and create meaningful connections with peers within the craft beer industry.

At the conference, Bob Young presented on the panel “HR Support + Compliance,” which covered topics including the 80/20 rule, the FMLA, and how HRIS systems can help breweries keep track of employee trainings, certifications, PTO and more. Bob was joined by Paul Carelis, VP of client services at MP HR, and Katie Iovino, operations director at Night Shift Brewing Co. The panel was moderated by Sarah Lee, MBG Board member and director of operations at Medusa Brewing Co.
