Korrin Petersen Provided Legal and Regulatory Update at 15th Annual Water Resources Strategies Symposium

Korrin Petersen served as a panelist at the 15th Annual Water Resources Strategies Symposium, titled “Science, Regulation, and Public Opinion: At the Crossroads.” Hosted by the Massachusetts Coalition for Water Resources Stewardship (MCWRS), the event will be held on October 7, 2025.

As part of the legal and regulatory update panel, Korrin offered insights into recent national and state legislation, regulations, policies, legal actions and court decisions that may affect those managing or using water infrastructure systems. She also addressed how these changes could affect communities across the region and highlighted advocacy strategies to navigate the evolving landscape.

The symposium brought together professionals from across Massachusetts to share insights on current policy, regulatory, research, and legal issues. The event provided an opportunity to discuss usable strategies for communities and for attendees to network with other water resources professionals.
