Emily Weber Discussed Core Skills for New Legal Practitioners
Emily Weber served as a panelist for “Family Law Firsts: Building Core Skills for New Practitioners,” presented by the Boston Bar Association.
The interactive workshop was the first in a series of practice essentials for family law attorneys and provided insights on handling common “firsts,” such as conducting legal interviews, client counseling, exercising professional judgment, and the limitations of the attorney/client relationship. Attendees also participated in small breakout discussions led by the panelists and analyzed a mock scenario that early career family lawyers are likely to encounter. At the conclusion of the program, attendees left with practical skills for navigating common client questions with confidence.
