Press Release: Two Bowditch Lawyers Named Legal Luminaries by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

Boston, Framingham, Plymouth and Worcester, MA – November 3, 2025 – Lynette Paczkowski, a Partner in Bowditch’s family law practice, and Peter Martin, a Partner in Bowditch’s nonprofit law practice, have been named Legal Luminaries by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.

Legal Luminaries is a new program that celebrates legal professionals who have shaped the community and advanced the practice of law across central Massachusetts. Both Paczkowski and Martin will be recognized at a special event on December 9 for their dedication, expertise, and commitment to justice that has made a lasting impact in their practice areas.

“Lynette and Peter’s recognition as Legal Luminaries is a testament to their expertise and passion in their practice areas,” said John F. Shoro, Managing Partner at Bowditch. “Both have proven to be successful advocates for their clients across central Massachusetts and have built exceptional reputations in the community. Their sincere and dedicated contributions to the legal field have rightfully earned them this recognition.”

Paczkowski, who joined Bowditch in 2008, is a pragmatic and trusted advisor with extensive experience advocating for clients at trial and appellate courts across Massachusetts. She routinely guides and helps individuals navigate prenuptial agreements, divorces, child custody issues, and other domestic relations disputes. With an extensive and varied litigation background, she also counsels and advises clients and appears in Probate & Family Court to represent them in trust disputes, estate administration claims, and related matters.

“I am deeply honored to be named a Legal Luminary by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly,” said Paczkowski. “To be receiving this recognition among a distinguished group of colleagues and leaders in the legal field is a testament to not just my own personal achievement but the collective achievement of the legal community across central Massachusetts.”

Martin has worked at Bowditch since 2001 after serving as a former in-house healthcare lawyer. As the region’s go-to nonprofit law attorney with decades of governance, management and affiliation experience, he is extremely knowledgeable about how nonprofits operate and how to best protect them. Martin also has a specialty in healthcare law, representing hospitals, long-term care facilities, physicians, and other facilities and providers facing complex regulatory and contractual issues throughout Massachusetts and beyond.

“To be selected as a Legal Luminary is a true privilege,” said Martin. “It’s inspiring to be recognized alongside accomplished colleagues and it demonstrates Bowditch’s commitment to excellence in serving all of our clients.”
