Joshua Lee Smith Named to Worcester Business Journal’s 2025 Power 100 List
Joshua Lee Smith has been named to the Worcester Business Journal’s (WBJ) 2025 Power 100 list. The list is comprised of the 100 most influential people in the Central Massachusetts economy – those individuals who are most effectively wielding their influence, with a special focus on those creating change and bringing new ideas to the forefront.
An inaugural member of the Power 100, Josh is a land use and real estate lawyer who has been involved in many of the most high-profile economic development projects in Central Massachusetts over the span of nearly two decades. The WBJ states Josh “has become an elite navigator of the often-turbulent waters of the property development world” and notes that his extensive expertise and calm demeanor have made him the go-to resource for anybody looking to do big things in Worcester and beyond.
Assisting with developments, land acquisitions, business acquisitions and financing, Josh is a key player in the growth of the local economy. Two recent projects Josh helped clients develop include the 200-unit office-to-residential conversion of former Fallon Health offices at One Chestnut Place and the 371-unit Alta on the Row residential complex
