George Tetler elected Vice Chair of the CIHE of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges
George Tetler has been elected Vice Chair of the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, making him the first non-academic to assume the role.
The Commission is the regional accreditation agency for colleges and universities in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The Commission is recognized both by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Its mission is to develop, encourage, and assist in the improvement, effectiveness, and excellence of affiliated education institutions.
