Lou Ciavarra Named Coach of Holy Cross Mock Trial Team
Bowditch partner Lou Ciavarra has been named a coach of the College of the Holy Cross Mock Trial Team.
Lou, who earned his bachelor’s degree from Holy Cross, has more than 30 years of experience in solving problems for business and institutional clients, as well as his work as a trial lawyer. All this helps him successfully coach and prepare the Holy Cross Mock Trial Team to compete at a high level.
On the Mock Trial Team, Holy Cross students must develop and execute a courtroom strategy, including presenting evidence, examining witnesses and summarizing cases. Through their work on the team, students learn courtroom skills such as making an opening statement, questioning and cross-examining witnesses, and making closing arguments.
