In partnership with the Managing Partner, Tina Bussone is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the firm with oversight of human resources, marketing and business development, accounting and information systems. With over fourteen years of senior-level experience in the professional services field, Tina brings a wealth of knowledge in strategic planning, talent acquisition, process design and improvement, and relationship building.
Tina served as Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer at LECG, LLC in Washington, D.C. She holds an M.B.A. in Management Science from George Washington University and a B.S. in Russian Area Studies from Georgetown University.

Vickie Manning manages all of the Firm's human resources operations and is responsible for attorney management and development. She also assists the Executive Director in overseeing operational functions at the Firm. She has direct supervisory responsibility for the Firm’s legal support staff.
Vickie has twenty years of human resources related experience in both public and private sector law. Prior to joining the Bowditch & Dewey, she was the Director of Support Services for the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General and a member of the Attorney General’s Executive Committee, and Chief Administrator for the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.
Vickie attended Worcester State College where she majored in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial Relations, and is a certified mediator. She is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators, a member of AIM Health Care Cost and Policy Committee, served on the Advisory Board of the Salter School, and is actively involved in the community in activities related to education, training and jobs. Vickie serves on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts, and is a member of Bowditch & Dewey’s Leadership, Diversity and Training Committees.

Her department is responsible for group and individual strategic planning, marketing collateral, advertising, seminars and events, public/media relations, the website, social media, and internal/external communications. She also serves as liaison to professional, industry and trade associations on behalf of the firm.
Jennifer is a member of the Women’s Advisory Network Board for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and was selected for the 2017 Boston Future Leaders Program. As part of the Net Impact Boston Board Fellow Program, she will serve as a Board Fellow for TiE Boston, a nonprofit that supports entrepreneurs by offering education, mentorship, networking, and funding opportunities.
She is a Museum Council Fellow at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and has previously served two terms on both the Steering Committee and the Summer Party Host Committee. After many years of service on the board of directors, in 2013 she served as president of the Legal Marketing Association, New England Chapter. She earned her B.A. in Public Policy from Hamilton College and a Marketing Strategy Certificate from Cornell University.

Carol Smith is responsible for the firm’s accounting and financial management. Her duties include developing and managing the firm’s budget, providing the management committee with financial reports and statistical analysis, strategic planning, implementing firm-wide initiatives, and supervising payroll, billing, banking and accounts payable.
Carol currently serves as Treasurer of Employers Against Domestic Violence. Previously, Carol held increasingly higher positions providing financial analysis and guidance to for-profit and non-profit organizations in a variety of fields. She holds a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Bryant University.

Jason Matthew is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Firm’s information technology resources. He develops and oversees the information technology capital budget and ensures that appropriate hardware, software and communications systems are implemented, maintained and upgraded. He works closely with all levels of management to develop short and long term information services priorities to provide adequate technology support capabilities to the Firm.
Prior to joining Bowditch & Dewey, Jason was Information Technology Manager at law firm, Fletcher Tilton PC. He also has experience as Systems Administrator for the Office of District Attorney, Norfolk County and as a Senior Consultant at Vista Information Technologies (formerly MTS).
