Brian Allen is a paralegal in the firm’s Business and Finance practice area. He came to Bowditch with more than 15 years of experience working as a paralegal and legal consultant for several Boston law firms.
Brian assists with general corporate matters, such as domestic and foreign profit, nonprofit, professional and LLC formations, amendments, qualifications, mergers and dissolutions; corporate and LLC Consent votes; and corporate maintenance. He also helps with transactional work, such as asset sales, stock sales, mergers and acquisitions, financings, due diligence and schedule preparation, UCC filings, lien searches, status certificates, Secretary’s/Manager’s Certificates, authority opinions and votes.
Besides work
Brian, who was born and raised in Boston, is a recent transplant to Mansfield, where he moved to experience life outside of the city. So far, he says it’s great. Brian is also a lifelong music enthusiast with an eclectic taste for many styles of music, his favorite being jazz. His passion for music fuels his attending as many live music events as he can get to. In fact, he is so into music, he has spent some time in the past as a music producer.
In addition to music, Brian is a self-proclaimed angler. He’s never caught a fish he didn’t like! When you meet Brian, be prepared for a story about the one that got away!
